Label Text: Text provided by the Photographic Resource Center at the time of the touring exhibition "New Works by Ten Massachusetts Photographers" in 1982: "Christopher James' hand-colored photographs of uninhabited or isolated spaces reveal his interest in graphic qualities, shapes, light and textural details. The application of watercolors, oils and enamels on his prints gives them a strong three-dimenstional quality. James was a recipient of a Massachusetts Artists Fellowship in Photography, and an NEA Artist-in-Residence Fellowship at Keene State College. He is in production with the second limited-edition portfolio of his work."
