Description:
Late 16th or early 17th century bellows shaped nutmeg grater. Eastern Norwegian or English, Elizabethan or James I; before 1620. Lid engraved with scrolls and one stylized bird head. Initialed "MS" and tree crest. Maker: CH? Engraved no. 22 on back: later, a collection number?
