Description:
Dumbbell shape and with a berettino ground decorated with oak leaves, a label with the name of the drug above a yellow and ochre lion's mask. Dia prunis solutiva is an electuary (a liquid or paste compound, with the ingredients mixed with sugar to both preserve it and make it palatable). In this case it is an electuary made from plums/prunes which is used as a purgative for the humors.
