Description: Allegorical figure of Death dressed in black with a skull-like face and blood-stained hands stands over a recumbent female figure who is partly wrapped in fabric. Death holds a coat-hook shaped wire and appears to stab the figure; red blood drips from the wire and pools around the woman.
