Description: Chinese export porcelain saucer decorated with a purple chain pattern around the rim, over an oval reserve banded in purple and gold with the initial "W" in a pink and gilt oval, and a gold rim and wide purple band around the rim. According the two dealers from which the pieces were purchased, they are from a teaset which descended in the Williams family of Deerfield, including 2 tea cups, 2 coffee cups and 9 saucers (HD 62.026.1-.8, HD 62.027, HD 63.087.1-.2, and HD 63.088).
