Description: Box covered with Turkish textile work of red velvet embroidered with metallic thread on outside and roller printed cotton on the inside. The donor bought the box at the July 25-26, 1976 auction of the estate of Meta Lacey of New Britain, Conn., held at B & S Auction Service, Thomas Barrows, Auctioneer, Box 141, Portland, Conn.
