Description:
Soft-paste porcelain, circular breakfast cup with a wide and deep bowl and applied footrim, which is marked on the underside in underglaze blue with a crescent for the Worcester Porcelain Factory. The handleless bowl is decorated with an underglaze blue painted border of dots within squares that have hatched lines - the effect like a small sunburst - around the exterior rim; and molded in relief around its circumference with reeding.
