Description:
One of a set of six silver teaspoons with a pointed oval bowl, rounded shoulders, and fiddle-end handle, which is marked "CHAFFEE & BAIRD" and "P" on the back in rectangles for Joseph Chalker Chaffee (b.1828), the brother of silversmith Frederick A. Chaffee (1823-1891), and Prentice Baird (1831-1890), and engraved "F.H. Scott" in script on the front of the handle.
