Description:
Silver tablespoon with an large egg-shaped bowl and thick rounded drop, straight hemispherical shaft tapered to a downturned pointed-end handle, and short midrib on back of handle tip, which is marked "B.DROWNE" in rectangle on the back of the handle for Benjamin Drowne (1759-1793), and engraved with the iniitials "ML" in foliate script on the front of the handle.
