Description:
AD))): In the center of this print, a nude female figure is depicted in a squatting posture, with her body facing the viewer. Her knees are bent toward the left, while her left arm extends to the right to support her upper body. Sharp black lines delineate her figure, framing her angular knees, bare feet, and the slight curve of her back. The woman's face is turned away from the viewer, and her facial features are minimalistic, with a subtly square-shaped eye and an oblong form of dark hair. Jagged triangular shapes fill the background, alternating between the black and the negative space of the paper. The background remains minimal and is textured by the natural grain of the mahagon block. (Tiffany Liang '27 [voice] / Ella Lin '27)
