Description:
Woman's square-shaped, flat wallet or purse with a triangular-shaped fold-over flap secured by a brown silk tape, which has "Silvia Keeps" embroidered on the top of the flap. The wallet is embroidered in polychrome silk, with designs of hearts and diamonds, possibly in a reference to playing cards. The wallet is edged with a lightweight green-brown silk taffeta (floral embroidery present on edging inside the wallet). The edging is secured to wallet by a runing stitch, as opposed to an overcast stitch like other wallets. Inside, the wallet is lined in a dark brown taffeta (the original color of the edging?). There is one divider, making one compartment, and cardboard interior facing on wallet front, back flap, and divider.
