Description:
Housewife or sewing kit (sometimes called a roll-up) used to store sewing thread, pins needles, thimble, small scissors, etc., which was made from pieces of printed cotton in blue, black and red with small overall designs There are four pockets of the housewife, plus pieces of wool fabric at one end. . The handwritten tag inside reads: "grand Mother / Coleman S. Weding / daughter name was / Deborah Holden / [illeg] Coleman." Very good condition.
