Description:
Pair of silver eyeglasses, enclosed in leather case. Lenses are round with long curved earpieces. The bridge is slightly pointed in the middle, with a pair of rubber nose pads. Rims and bridge have etched design. The glass case is navy, with a lighter blue felt inside. The case is marked "Cheney & Hunt, Inc., Jewelers and Opticians, 281 High Street, Holyoke, Mass." Inside is a pink cloth for cleaning the eyeglasses, with an advertisement of their lenses, including a graphic comparing them with ordinary lenses, and captions that read "Tillyear Lenses. Accurate to the very edge. Patented."
