Description:
Chinese export porcelain saucer decorated in the Famille rose palette in pink, purple, yellow, green, orange, blue, brown, and black with traces of a floral border around the interior rim. The well has a red and green flower band around an European couple seated closely together in a next to a tree and in front of a large urn, and a Chinese man with an orange and black hat and yellow gown standing behind them. Hervouet and Bruneau describe the scene as: "Amorous secret in the style of Watteau."
