SKINNER CATALOGUE: A pair of large mercury glass candlesticks, done in plain turning. This type of glass was popular for home decoration in the third quarter of the 19th century. Height 10 1/2" Diam. base 4 3/4". For 1 5/16 inch diameter candle, tapering at the base, as with dipped candles. Cat. 7/5/1935.
