Description: This Yellow Warrior kachina is painted with yellow body paint. He wears a long, trailing feather headdress reminiscent of those seen amongst Plains communities. With carved eyes and a carved mouth displaying jagged teeth, he also has black paint and small "x"s on his cheeks, as well as red ears. He wears a fur neckpiece and a crossed chest sash decorated with shells. A black diamond is seen on his chest, and armbands (as well as a black yarn bracelet and cuff) decorate his arms. A buckskin and cotton sash is around his waist, complete with a black apron and green and orange yarn. He wears multicolored shoes, and holds a bow and arrows in his hands. Dancing on a wooden platform, this kachina was meant for the tourist trade. AP2018
