Description:
woman seated in chair, head and torso, facing forward, hands large and on the arms of the chair, the right hand proper stretched out, the left hand proper grasping the end of the chair arm; the style is abstracted and simplified, with eyes large and staring, face sketched with simple dark lines with several larger dots for emphasis at the corners of the mouth, the nostrils, and under the left eye proper; dress dark with fur trim suggested on jacket, skirt is a simple grid; dark ground with lighter areas on upper left and left edge, and at right center
