Description:
woman seated in chair, head and torso, facing forward, head in slight 3/4 turn to right with hands on the arms of the chair; the style is abstracted and simplified, with heavy dark and white geometric outlines defining forms; skirt is made up of simple plaid grid, puffed arm sleeves contain a three-pronged trident design, certain skeins of hair are brought out as wide white lines which are bisected and segmented by a single vertical line and a number of horizontal lines
