Description:
Thrown ovoid-shaped container with spout and attached strap handle; spout still retains a cork, there is a scribe line just outside of the spout, the whole vessel is covered in a manganese black lead glaze; condition: there is an area on the side of glaze roughness, and some losses of glaze along the handle, there is some salt efflourescence along the base of the pot. Current attribution provided by American ceramics scholar Justin Thomas, 1/16/2019.
