Description:
English lusterware jug decorated with pink lustre and two overglaze black transfer prints. One scene depicts an encampment of various travelers cooking over an open flame; the other shows an old man with a young boy begging from a young lady. The globular-shaped jug has a with straight collar, flaring pouring lip, and double scroll handle, all of which are decorated with pink lustre that is smeared in places.
