Description:
English small, globular jug covered in a yellow glaze with straight collar and scroll handle with black trim. The two octagonal reserves on either side of the jug are transfer-printed in black enamel with scenes of a country church and Gothic church in ruins. The collar of jug is decorated in black enamel with sprigs and trailing vine border. On the bottom is number "26" is marked in overglaze black enamel and a modern label of "M429".
