Description:
"The antique pewter teapot was my grandmother MacCollum's. She came with her parents from Scotland to America in 1776 and I think the teapot came with them but of that I am not sure. I only know I always thought so. My grandmother died when I was a very small girl. They lived in a log house in a clearing near the woods, and my grandmother, a brave woman, would go a quarter mile to gather the sheep at night while the wolves were howling in the wilderness nearby. The woods had plenty of black bears too at that time." -Miss Kelsey
