Description: Silver rectangular box with cut-off corners; all gilt-lined; top cover is bright cut engraved with four Tudor roses at each corner and leaves and buds along borders and empty rectangle within; bottom engraved with four bands of bright cut and rectangle with leaf forms at center; thumb pieces on top and bottom opposite three lug hinge; grille is punched and engraved with one open Tudor rose surrounded by leaves and two partly opened blossoms in space the same as box design; grille lifts on three lug hinge with thumb piece from side to side.
