Description:
From original file: Maker's mark "SM" inside lid. Double swell urn shape on trumpet foot with raised repoussé work and engraved floral and scroll design throughout. Screws on and has plain acorn-shaped finial. Blue-tinned pull-off grater punched with seven pointed star and set on wide silver rim. Lathe marks visible inside. Excellent workmanship throughout. Appraisal form notes that the grater was "probably a replacement."
