Description:
From original file: Silver gilt-lined octagonal box; cover lifts on disguised hinge that is flush with cover and concealed with band of engraving mirrored by exact engraving on opposite side of scroll forms coming together in what looks like a column capital with a heart and arrow sitting on top. Bottom is slightly concave due to damage. Christmas card "to Jose" inside. Hallmarks: lion passant (inside cover); maker's mark "GB" slightly erased (inside cover); date letter "O" (inside box).
