Description:
Silver oval shaped vinaigrette with exterior machine designed and bright cut engraving around sides; cover lifts on concealed hinge flush with side and applied scroll shaped thumb piece; grille is not perfect oval: flat on two sides; no longer opens on three lug hinge; piercing and engraving in elaborate scroll forms; sponge still in place; heavy aroma; gilt-lined; ring at top probably not the original.
