Large silver oval body and slightly domed lid with concealed hinge and cast finial; bright-cut engraving in swags around body with floral borders top and bottom; bright-cut shield in front cartouche and crested lion in rear cartouche; bright-cut floral border around lid and star-shaped floral design around finial; key hole in front with working silver-tipped key.
