Description:
Soft-paste porcelain figure molded in the shape of a ram with heavy wool coat and curled ram's horns; ram sits on an oval ground with small flowers, trunk under ram supports the figure, these undecorated figures made by Longton Hall are the so-called "Snowman" figures. Tag for Phllips Auction, London, Sale No. 137, Lot 514 in data file.
