Description: Stoneware plate. Boston Common pattern in blue. The plate shows an early scene of the Boston Common with a group of three cows, the State Capitol and the Hancock mansion at the left of the State House. From a water color by Dobbins. Impressed: Rogers. A fine Staffordshire plate, but with a circular crack.
