There are heavily slotted paper pages with outlined windows that hold 18 photographs, ranging in date from 1850 to 1870, of members of the Hubbard, Clarke, Grant, Boyd, Smead, Alvord, and Hubbell families. "Mrs. Ashley Hubbard" is Betsey Dole Hubbard (1794-1862), wife of Ashley Hubbard (1792-1861), who appears to be wearing the same dress and pin (may be one of the mourning pins, HD 89.084 and HD 89.085, given by Parker Dole Hubbard) as appears in her painting by Erastus Salisbury Field (1805-1900), HD 89.046, . Hubbard". "Mrs. Elizabeth H. Alvord" is Ashley's and Betsey's second daughter, Elizabeth Peck Hubbard Alvord (b.1830) also painted by Field as a girl, HD 91.002. "P.D.
