Description:
Decorative ring made for a man or woman. This is not a mourning ring. Seed or river pearls are cut in half and set in rose rold surrounding the bust (blister pearls cut in half are often for mourning). There is no maker's mark. The ring represents an affordable piece of jewelry, made in large numbers in areas of Rhode Island and Attleboro, Massachusetts in the mid-late 19th century.
