Description:
Small mourning pin or brooch with an image of a white urn on base beside a gold-colored willow tree, all set against a black ground. Pin attached at top back, pointing down. Pins like this example were an affordable, generically-made type of jewelry. There is no reserve for the placement of a locket of coiled hair. Bottom clasp is broken off.
