Label Text:
Three areas structure this print: the black and white trees of the alley, anchored in the real world; the central oval, in which the alley takes on a faded brown tone; and the two people, rendered merely as white silhouettes. These areas visually represent the temporal as well as the intellectual transition from the earthly world into a spiritual realm where thoughts are not bound by mundane reality.
