Label Text:
In the enchanted space of the house with the mezzanine, the artist Vassiliev meets the writer Chekhov to pose his questions across the divide of time but is unable to step into the space that is no longer there. And yet, in the world of art and literature, a meeting of the minds is possible in a very real sense. The figures of the artist and the writer have acquired substance in an imagined space, and the dialogue begins.
