Description:
Chain stitch and crewel embroidery desings: open border of delicate floral desing with leaves and red berries; within a narrow red scalloped design, broken by vertical floral sprays that intrude on the white field, loosely linked by an undulating beige ribbon. In field dotted with floral sprays of varying sizes, blue birds and yellow lions, In center, scallop, floral spray and ribbon motife repeated,. Open braided fringe in triangular patterns in vari-colored knotted silk.
