Description:
Semi elliptical fanlight with three tiers of glass. Lead rosettes at junction of muntins in first tier, only remnants of decorations (fleur des lils?) at muntin junction at 2nd tier, and elongated fleur des lils at junction of inverted swags in outer most bank of glass panels, some fleur des lils remain at outer most juncitons of muntins. Provenance:Coleman- Hollister House, Greenfield, MA. In fair condition. Significance: designed by Asher Benjamin when he resided in Greenfield, MA. Belongs with west door.
