Man’s ceremonial collar, American, late 19th century. Machine sewn. (Typed paper label “George Washington Presidential Peace Medal Dated Aug. 3, 1795 And Called The Treaty of Greeneville. Peace Medals Were Given To Tribal Chiefs And Elders At Treaty Signings And Other Important Events. Note Presentation Collar #27518.”)
