An example of an English timepiece made for export to the China, this watch has a dial engraved with Chinese numbers for the hours. Oddly, the numbers 4, 5, 6, 7 8, and 9 are repeated, while numbers 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, and 12 aren’t used.
