Description:
The flat mouth of the aryballos, or oil flask, is decorated with black dashes radiating from the rim, which is painted black. The handle rises from the rim of the mouth and attaches at the shoulder; stripes of black are framed by vertical bands of black following the edge of the handle. The shoulder zone is decorated with dark brown tongues. On the body of the object, three broader bands (painted black, red, black respectively) are framed by a group of three narrow bands in brown at the top and red at the bottom. Three sets of three tongues in black radiate up from the black painted foot; the underside of the foot is reserved.
