Label Text:
This print is signed in English "Sadao Watanabe" below the image. To the right of the signature is the artist's seal, which reads "Sadao." At the bottom middle-left of the print is the title.

Watanabe's prints are heavily influenced by Japanese mingei ('folk art'). He is best known for his prints of Christian subjects, such as this one.
