Description:
Empire secretary with bird's eye maple drawer fronts, bookcase doors, and fold-out writing surface. The secretary comes in two sections. The lower section features two full drawers with wooden pulls flanked by turned columns, all below a projecting narrow drawer with simliar wooden pulls. The upper bookcase section features a beveled cornice above paneled doors with mahogany veneered rails and stiles, which are hinged to the front edges of the case. The lock on the bookcase doors is replaced. The bookcase interior includes two adjustable shelves above four drawers.
