Exhibition Label, 40 Years / 40 Artists, January 22–March 8, 2015:
This image, from a new body of work by the artist, is based on stained animal skeletons from the Biology Department at UMass. The initial images, the results of scientific inquiry, are transformed into elegant visual art works as fascinating as they are poetic. -Loretta Yarlow
