Description: Rectangular, pillow-shaped baked clay tablet; covered on all sides except 3 edges with cuneiform inscription. From the Reign Of Darius. TRANSLATION: “Regarding the debt note for four minas of cut-up silver containing one-eight alloy – the remainder of the purchase price of a house – that Marduk-rēmanni son of Bēl-uballiṭ of the Ṣāḫit-ginê family issued against Adad-nādin son of Būr-aḫḫē-uṣur, concerning that silver, namely the four minas, Marduk-rēmanni did not receive it from Adad-nādin. Because of a shortfall in the size (of the house), Marduk-rēmanni has returned the debt note of four minas and given it to Adad-nādin. Witness: Arad-[x son of] Nabû-zēru-iddin, Nabû-nādin-s̆umu son of Kidin-Marduk of the Rē’i-sisê family, Nidintu son of Nabû-ittannu of the Ṣāḫit-ginê family, Itti-Bēl-immir son of Bēl-ēṭir of the Dābibī family, Iddin- Nabû son of Bēl-nāṣir of the Sîn-ilī family, Bēl-us̆allim son of S̆u-lāya of the Nappāḫu family, AN.S̆A̒R-rēmanni son of Rēmūt, Nabû-kāṣir and [son of xxx], [xxx] son of Ēṭir-es̆s̆u, xxx [son of] S̆amas̆-ēres̆, Iddin-Nabû son of Uŝaḫiya?, Nabû-x son of Mus̆ēzib- Bēl of the Bābūtu family, Eṭrāya son of Nabû- nāṣir, S̆amas̆-x son of Sîn-kāṣir and Iddin- Bēl son of Rēmūt of the x-Marduk family.
