Description:
Woman's whitework dickie featuring a fold-down, gathered collar. There is floral embroidery on both the collar as well as the the central portion. The square edges would tuck into the rounded neckline of dresses at this period. This bottom part of the dickie is likely made from a handerchief, as evidenced by the stripes on the bottom and proper left edges.
