The print is signed at lower-right "Kōchōrō Kunisada ga" ('drawn by Kōchōrō Kunisada'), a signature used by the artist ca. 1825–1861. To the left of the signature is the kiwame mark of the censor, below which is the seal — three dots within a circle — of publisher Iseya Sanjirō of the firm Eijudō.
