Characteristic curved and built up round back and arms in maple, with a very unusual high fan comb in hickory, consisting of a shaped top rail supported by nine about 9/16 inch diam. rod spindles. The comb is probably a later addition. Three posts and front leg maple, vase and ring turned, with worn vase turned feet. Two stretchers on either side, the lower front ones of maple, long vase turned, one side maple plain; all others hickory plain. Twisted rush seat old, but probably not original. Cat. 8/20/1936.
