Description:
Obverse: Sasanian style bust facing right, surmounted by crescent and dot, with three pellets below. Arabic legend in left margin in Kufic script. Bukharan legend in right margin.
Obverse legend: ["al-Mahdi" in Arabic in left margin, Bukharan in right margin]
Reverse: Debased representation of Sasanian fire altar and flanking attendants with head on altar facing right. Outer margin of dots.
