Label Text:
Based on the appearance of the gyōji seal of the publisher, Maruya Bun'emon, here acting as an official censor, the original design dates to between 1811 and 1814. However, the bright colors indicate the use of aniline dyes, meaning that the print most likely dates to the second half of the 19th century, if not later. - BB, 7/21/2014
