Description:
Fiddle handle tablespoon, coin silver, stamped "G.W. BULL" on handle. Engraved on handle "PS" or "PG". Engraving is very rubbed. Goerge Washington Bull was born: 9 May 1809, Meriden CT; married Julia A. Cooke on 2 Sep 1841 in Meriden CT,. He worked c 1840 as a silversmith in Farmington CT. He appeared on the 1870 census taken at Wallingford CT, listed as a mold maker.
