Description:
These six scenes are also known as the 'Meisterstiche' or the Life of the Virgin. Franco Estius is the author of print verses for plates 2, 3 and 5. Cornelius Schonaeus composed verses for plates 1, 4 and 6. The entire series was dedicated to Duke William V of Bavaria.
